Using HTH in Your Community
The mission of the church is to save souls. Jesus expressed His mission as seeking and saving the lost (Luke 19:10), and His body on earth today (the church, Ephesians 1:22-23) is to do the same. What does that this mean for the local church? It takes leaders who walk by faith to launch out aggressively to evangelize the whole world—and their own communities. It takes members walking by faith to support their plans with heart, soul, and pocketbook. It takes preachers walking by faith to continue to emphasize the true mission of the church and to selflessly work to see it happen.
House to House/Heart to Heart (HTH) is a direct mail program for the churches of Christ. Join this effort and six times a year, an attractive, biblically sound eight-page magazine will arrive in each home in your community. The front and back are customized for your congregation, giving event notices, service times, services you offer the community, and more. We help you design the front and back of each issue, and work with you in reaching your community.

Reaching the Lost
Each issue of House to House/Heart to Heart has offers for readers to receive free study materials such as tracts, booklets, books, DVDs, CDs, magazines, and more. Readers contact you to receive many of these materials, or they come to our website. We collect and send their requests to you so you can put a local face to each interested soul.

Getting Started
We would love to assist you in getting started in the House to House program. The best way to begin the process is to fill out a consultation request form. We call you explain the program and answer any questions you have. We can also provide mailing information such as maps and route counts of the homes near your church building, or in a neighborhood that you would like to target with the Gospel. You may call us if you prefer. We are located in the Central Time Zone and are open from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. each weekday. Cost
The first question that many people have is, “Can we afford to participate?” We have worked diligently to keep the cost down through the years and God has blessed us with remarkable circumstances to allow HTH to be printed AND mailed for less than the cost of a postage stamp. A postage stamp costs $.44 and HTH can be printed and mailed for only $.30 each by utilizing volume printing discounts and non-profit rates. There are two basic costs: (1) printing and (2) mailing. Each printed copy costs only $0.13. Each mailed copy costs only $0.16 which includes the address purchase, postage, and production costs. The printer’s minimum order is 1,000 pieces. So, if you begin with the minimum order of 1,000 copies ($130 for printing) and mailed 900 of them into your community ($144), your total would be about $277 every other month ($136/month). The extra 100 would be sent to you to have on hand for visitors and members who live outside the mailing area, or to be placed in local restaurants and businesses. There is a small shipping/handling fee (approximately $12-$15) to cover mailing your box of extra HTH and free tracts. So every other month the charge to participate in the HTH program is about $300 ($150 per month since HTH is printed only every other month). There is no more economical way to get the gospel into the hands of your community.
When you sign up for the HTH program, you also receive a free assortment of HTH tracts to get you started in filling requests. Each issue you also receive a pack of each of the new tract in your box of extras.
Policies
HTH is under the oversight of the elders of the Jacksonville church of Christ and they have established guidelines for our practices, policies, and procedures. They are responsible for final decisions on all content and policies. We only work with the churches of Christ. HTH does not support the change agent movement or non-institutional views, nor knowingly work with those who do. The elders reserve the right not to promote a speaker/event they consider questionable or unsound.
