Where did God live before he created heaven in Genesis 1?

Regarding the dwelling place of God before the creation, we must remember that the "heaven" of Genesis 1:1 is generally viewed as the atmosphere, not heaven the dwelling place of God. The heaven that was created in Genesis 1:1 is a physical heaven, but the place where God dwells is a spiritual place (1 Corinthians 15:49-53).
