Bible question

Where did dinosaurs come from?

Topic(s): Bible infallibility, Old Testament

Todd Clippard

Those (like me) who accept a literal 6-day creation understand that all land creatures were created on day 6 (Genesis 1:24-25). Incidentally, this was the same day in which God created man (Genesis 1:26ff).

There is much evidence, both biblical and otherwise, to show man and dinosaurs coexisted on the earth. Read the book of Job beginning at chapter 40 verse 15 and consider what kind of beast fits the description of the behemoth (KJV). Incidentally, elephants, rhinos, and/or hippos do not fit the description as given in the divine text.

Now read chapter 41 and the description of the leviathan. Note how God spoke with Job concerning these two creatures as though Job was well acquainted with both.

There is also fossil evidence to show that man and dinosaur coexisted on earth. This evidence can be obtained from any number of bookstores. (I might suggest Apologetics Press in Montgomery, AL - www.apologeticspress.org.)
