Bible question

Where did angels originate? Did they ever appear as men? And where do we find them singing?

According to numerous passages of Scripture, angels are created beings. Consider the following passages:

Psalm 148:1-5
1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights.
2 Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts.
3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.
4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.
5 Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created. KJV

Nehemiah 9:6
"Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee." KJV

The Bible also indicates when angels were created . . . during the creation week of Genesis 1-2.

Exodus 20:11
"For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it." KJV

Colossians 1:16
"For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him." KJV

In regard to the question as to whether angels ever appeared in human form, I direct your attention to Genesis 18, where not only did angels appear in human form, but the Lord himself appeared in human form to Abraham (Gen 18:1-8, 22-33). Also, in Genesis 19, angels appeared in human form to Lot and the inhabitants of Sodom.

Finally, though there may be others, I have only found one reference to angels singing, Revelation 15:1-3 . . .

1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints." KJV

Revelation 5 mentions the four beasts and the twenty-four elders singing, and later mentions a host of angels giving praise and glory with loud voices (cf Job 38:7).
