Bible question

Is it idolatry to put a person’s picture in the Bible, for example, a political figure?

By definition, idolatry is placing any one or anything ahead of one's obligation to God. Many first century Christians were former idolaters (Acts 19:17-20, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, etc), and Paul repeatedly addressed the problem of idolatry among the early church (e.g., 1 Corinthians 8). Also, covetousness is identified as being synonymous with idolatry in Colossians 3:5.

I don't see how putting a picture in a Bible of a political figure, or anyone else for that matter, would constitute idolatry. Now if one were to forsake the law of God in favor of the practices or policies of that individual, that would be a different matter altogether.
