robe, crown of thorns, hit with reed on head, spit upon, smote with hands.
Presented to people (Jn. 19:5). Stripped again and redressed (Mt. 27:31).
9. Parade (Mt. 27:32-34; Lk. 23:26-32). Simon summoned to bear cross
after Jesus (Lk. 23:26). Refused to drink vinegar and gall (Mt. 27:34; wine and
myrrh, Mk. 15:23).
