Bob Costas recently described the difference between men’s figure skating and ice hockey. Both events are on ice, but one has a cry room and the other has a penalty box.
I don’t know if he meant it to be funny, but I thought it was. Still, crying is a very interesting human behavior . . . and one the evolutionist cannot explain.
Whether we try to suppress the tears of emotion or let them flow at the prick of a pin, crying has very little to do with keeping our eyeballs lubricated. Crying is a human feature designed by God to help us express a variety of internal emotions.
